Museum of Cretan Ethnology




The Museum of Cretan Ethnology at Vori
(Vori is a village in the south of Heraklion prefecture and 2-3 km north of the Phaistos Archaeological Site, a village of intense traditional and cultural interest) consists of an exhibition complex and a Research and Conference Center.


The exhibition is housed in a two storey building and consists of 3000 exhibits that showcase





the ethnological human evolution through seven key areas: food, architecture, weaving, arts - trade, transport, customs, social organization.
